Idea

The idea of this blog is to demonstrate why is Iran's seasons are special, what are the events in each season, and what people do during these seasons in Iran. For each seasons there are lots of stuff happening during them such as celebrations, ceremonies, and holidays which each of them have something to do with the season properties. For example there is Chahar shanbe Soori the last Wednesday night of the year with traditional celebration, dancing, music, and fire work; There is a reason for this event to be on last days of winter and just before spring and new year begins which will be described in winter page.
Thus some events are affected by the seasons traits and characteristics, and some are effecting the season. For example Chahar Shanbe Soori is in winter, it is about lots fires to demonstrate that the winter and cold freezing weather is finished, it is time for earth to get out of hibernation and warm up; So you can see that this event is affected by winter. Now another example is in summer all the public and private universities, schools are officially closed which make the summer time the most joy able time of the year for the students, and families because they can enjoy the hot sunny days of Iran's beautiful sites by their families and friends. So this phenomenon effects the summer.

Iran's complex climate ranges from subtropical to sub polar. It is mild and humid in the Caspian region, but warm and humid in the southern shores. The north-western and north-eastern areas are cold and dry while the central part has desert climate. The heights of Zagros and Alborz enjoy mild weather in summer. Because of this complex climate, Iran is famed for having four destine seasons at the same time. So one can go skiing in the northern mountains and swimming in the southern waters in the same season. plants and animal life is of great variety.
