I can't remember what the question was,
but I know it involved oak and maple leaves
rotting in autumn rains, cold winds and fog.
I watch the clouds drift by, wonder
why it never rains, miss the damp
comfort of autumn nights, the chill.
I still don't know the question, but
I know it involves loss, the only constant
in a life devoid of falling leaves

FALL
Autumn or fall is one of the four temperate seasons. Autumn marks the transition from summer into winter usually in March (Southern Hemisphere) or September (Northern Hemisphere) when the arrival of night becomes noticeably earlier.
The equinoxes might be expected to be in the middle of their respective seasons, but temperature lag (caused by the thermal latency of the ground and sea) means that seasons appear later than dates calculated from a purely astronomical perspective. The actual lag varies with region, so some cultures regard the autumnal equinox as "mid-autumn" whilst others with a longer lag treat it as the start of autumn. Meteorologists (and most of the temperate countries in the southern hemisphere) use a definition based on months, with autumn being September, October and November in the northern hemisphere, and March, April and May in the southern hemisphere

The idea:
In this blog we aim to illustrate the real face of four seasons in Iran, especially events and ceremonies. In this page I will describe fall season and illustrate the real fall in Iran and the things may interest you during this season.
I’m working on my assignment about this blog through these last days; I should prepare two images which show all the sense and events of fall season in Iran. Our lecturer wants us to be creative so I hope I could.
Meanwhile, I was searching trough internet finding some photos related to fall, dreaming about fall in Iran. Fall remind me some memoirs. Fall days become shorter and many plans stop making foods that is when the green start to disappear from the leaves. The first thing that I remember is, the first day of fall when schools begin to work. The first day of the month Mehr coincided with Sept.23rd is the formal beginning of the academic year in Iran
It is one of the important events, every year in this time; you can see many students in new uniforms that are going through schools. The first day of class in Iran comes with its own traditions, designed to help students ease into the academic year. First-graders have it the best. The children are designated as shokoofeh (literally, blossoms), and the teachers give each child a stalk of a fragrant flower. The principal raises a microphone and calls all of the kids into rows, regimented by grades. Then, at exactly the same time across the country, an official strikes a metal plate with a small hammer, the aural signal for the year to begin. The kids pass under a Koran and into their new classrooms, redolent with the smoky swirl of burning esfand, a fragrant herb for warding off bad spirit.

I have used 11 images in this image, Real Dreaming, is the name of my image, I have tried to illustrate a fall day in one of the Iranian park which I was dreaming about. First of all, choosing a background in which you can see the people in a park, after that I had the images which should be designed so the first step was, cutting the layers then I should design them in right and logical way that is in my mind.As you see at top and right side of image, I put a combination of changed color leaves and pomegranate and also left side is designed with another kind of fall leaves. The reason is, showing the dreamingscene, at the firs side when you see the image you feel the arc design on the top that lead to dreaming feel. Next step, the couple under an umbrella is symbol of rainy days in fall, bottom and left a man who carting hot boiled broad bean and beet which selling and buying them is very usual in chill seasons.
this is such a lovely dish that celebrates what's delicious and ready in fall months |
Image 2:
In this image 10 images are used, this is also a kind of dreaming but I've called it virtual dreaming as you can see at bottom, first of all, I've chose a vector background which is changed with blur filter and also the contrast is considered, the girl picture in middle is a symbol of myself who dreaming about fall, the event in, fruits and cities. I've try to keep the balance as you see left and right are equal which called symmetric design.
